What to cook for Vally Day! Recipe #2

Shrimp Scampi


Ingredients

1 Pound or Box of Linguine
5 Tbsp of Butter
2 Cups of Dry Wine White
2 Pounds of Large Shrimp
1 Tbsp of minced Garlic
Dried Basil
1 Tsbp of Lemon Juice
Lemon Zest

Directions:

In a larger pot add water and a salt and put it on the burner. While that is coming to a boil.
In a larger pan add a little bit of olive oil and cook your shrimp until its a bright pink.
Remove the Shrimp and start to melt your butter.
While your butter is melting Add your pasta to the water and stir for 30 seconds to a Minute.
Add your Garlic,White Wine, Lemon Juice and Basil let it cook for a few minutes.
Add your shrimp back to the pan.
Drain your pasta (Remember 8-10 minutes is al-dente).
After the sauce have cooked down a bit put the shrimp in sauce over the pasta on a plate and garnish with lemon zest.
