3 Meat Spaghetti and Garlic Bread
Ingredients
1 Pound Ground Beef.1 Pound Italian Sausage.
1 Pound Ground Turkey.
1 Large Onion
1 Larger Green Bell Pepper
2 Tomatoes
1 Pinch of Sugar
1 Pound of Dried Spaghetti
Fresh/Powdered Parmesan Cheese
Garlic Powder
Salt
White Pepper
Fresh French Bread
Butter
Basil
Parsley
and Oregano
Directions:
Start by medium dicing your Onion and Green Pepper. Separate each into two parts.Place one part of onion and one part of pepper into a deep sauce pot or pan. Slightly sauté on low heat. Dice your tomatoes. Combine your tomatoes into the sauce pot/pan adding your choice of spaghetti sauce ( for me that is Ragu), add a little water, parsley, basil, and oregano and let it simmer on medium low heat.
Now in a frying pan start to cook your sausage. You can cook the Whole or Sliced (The sliced version is a lot quicker).
While your sausage is cooking quickly combine your ground turkey with garlic powder and salt and a herb of your choice and roll them into medium size meatballs or any size of your choice( The larger the meat balls the longer for them to cook thoroughly).
When the sausage is completely cooked take them out and place them to the side.
Place the meatballs into the grease that came from the sausage and cook thoroughly. Take the meat balls out add the other half of onions and pepper to the pan with the lightly salted ground beef and brown. Now combine all the meat in the sauce pot with a pinch of sugar and let it simmer.
Place a pot with water that has been salted on the recently vacant burner on medium high heat.
Now pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees. Slice your French Bread into 1 inch slices Diagonally. Place your butter in the Microwave for about 30 seconds to soft it up a little. Finely chop up some Parsley. On each slice spread some butter, sparkle some garlic powder, parsley, and parmesan cheese powder.
Reassemble the loft of bread and place into the oven for 5-10 mins.
If your water is boiling add your pasta and stir for 30 seconds to 1 minute this would release the starch from the pasta and prevent it from sticking. (You can add oil but oil would cause the sauce to slide of the pasta and we don't want that).
Taste your sauce add some seasoning to your own taste and make sure that the acidity is no longer there it should be a cross between sweet and savory. Check your bread if the out side is toasted remove from oven. If it isn't toasted you can still turn off the oven and let the reminder heat toast the bread. Stir your pasta and remember 8-9 minutes equals al dente anything longer would be soft this is your choice.
Everything should be completed so plate it out and garnish with Fresh Parmesan Cheese and Basil.
*You can take out any meat that you rather not eat. Some aren't a fan of Ground Turkey. Some because of Religion and Health reasons don't eat pork. You beef links are a great subby for Italian sausage.
Love You Guys!
Petals Falling Until Next Time! XOXO!
